History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Baern hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A freak accident while working with his Fisher father left him crippled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Baern was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against orcs

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. She keeps her auburn hair in a pixie cut. Her gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. Being a Ruler kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and to share knowledge with the world
