History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. Her hair is short and white. Her silver eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. After a long history of fighting, Manea and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Sage but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Sage. She tends to her Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is wearing a tight pastel one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. River was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: This younger middle-aged man is wearing a long, white, dusty cloak, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He hates Halflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
