History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Shamil and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Born to a Shipwright, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
