History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Vola was born the youngest of three triplets. A freak accident while working with her Carpenter father left her crippled. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Clerebold was born with his father's beautiful face. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Apothecary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Apothecary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

She keeps her long black hair kept up in a rat tail. Her violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
