Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Merla does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Merla reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Barkeep who has hired him part-time. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gifted student he started as a Stableman, but he got bored and became a Barkeep. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and to reunite with his old friends

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
