Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a blue shirt, with a red mid length shorts with red tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Bookbinder business.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Peren was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Peren decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and expand his business

Description: This woman is very fat, and prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

Description: She is an average looking eastern female in her early mid-life. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized green coat. Her blue crest is unkempt and raggedy. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She takes great joy in being the best Butcher in town.

History: Sora was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Butcher. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and expand her business

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a yellow vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his yellow boots flare out at the collars. His silver hair is thinning but still full. He has amber eyes and a yellow hat with a blue feather.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Himo was born with his father's beautiful face. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: She has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her tan robe. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her greatsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. She keeps her blonde hair in a pixie cut. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
