History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Nija was a troubled youth. Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her first spouse was a Dilettante, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Ruler, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Rose was born the youngest of three triplets. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her hair is long and black with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small grey clips. Her hazel eyes peer out from beneath her broad grey hat.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in the east to a Weaver, Dariff learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dariff grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dariff. She has achieved small success as a Weaver.
