History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 40. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end her boredom

History: Peter was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Peter and his spouse have recently divorced.

She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: Ellywick is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ellywick grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and regain custody of her daughter
