History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Serpent was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Serpent's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She got money to start a business from the gang present in town. She is greatly indebted to them.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: Pâsh speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born into a rich family. A freak accident while working with his Herbalist father left him crippled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Vezera was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cook. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tanner. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady brown eyes.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Therlin does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a Mortician, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Aerdeth hails from a village terrorized by giants. A freak accident while working with his Doctor mother left him crippled. He has never given up on his writing dream.
