Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She is a Jackalwere in disguise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She has all her life been fascinated with writing.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her first spouse was a Laborer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Guard, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: John was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
