History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ella embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Ella lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Mayor, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Creega isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Orc unity. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is greedy

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: Trail was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.
