History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Banker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. After months of barely getting by, Jarsali managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.
