Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: Ortegar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Ortegar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her hair is brown and curly. Her eyes are gold and catlike.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She bought a greataxe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

Description: He wears a black feathered hat and black clothes. He carries with him a set of lances, each one with a amber on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has wavy brown hair. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His first spouse was a Spice Merchant, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ashgarn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears tattered old clothes. Her beige fur is matted, messy, and big. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born into a rich family. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: She is fixated on the number 90. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She uses divination through singing.

History: Gifted from a young age, Maiathah studied abroad. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
