History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This light-skinned male very much looks the part of a Marshal. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His tied-back hair is red. He has blue eyes.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Chad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. Her crest is short and red. She has gleaming, smiling gold eyes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Layabout, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and regain custody of her son

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a bastard sword, but if one is not available he will default to his flail. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Skûn hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Skûn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 4'7". He wears a tattered pair of loose tan pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, and his gloved hand is found clutching a crossbow. His hair is golden, silky, and of moderate length. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He got into the Carpenter business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Baker, but he got bored and became a Carpenter. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and balancing his hectic life and new carpenter responsibilities is difficult
