History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Smoking and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Smoking discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Smoking fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. After coming to the age of reason, Fabien took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he seems to be bored by most things
