In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Farideh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
