Description: A moderately attractive woman, she is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. She wears her brown hair up. Her violet eyes peer out from beneath her feathered black hat.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. Volen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Volen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she wants revenge against drow

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: A 3'2" northern woman, she is dressed in an above average manner. Her golden hair is wavy and long. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are violet.

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Born in the north to a Performer, Portia learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Performer and was forced into it by her family; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a ceremonial dagger on his belt, and carries ceremonial daggers. He sports a flattop hair cut. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hubert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hubert studied abroad. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.
