Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bathin's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Bathin hails from a village terrorized by drow. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Pikar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He comes from a rich western family. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Everard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Born to a Detective, her father struggled to pay the bills. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has worked as a Navigator like his father before him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
