History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Barakas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Folgûm is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Folgûm lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in the east to a Herbalist, Gilkass learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. She has never given up on her music dream.
