She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Ploughman born in the past three hundred years. She is a great chef.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to be a mortician again

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born into a rich family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born in the west. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
