History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
