History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Through the years after Cloak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Cloak's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his old friends

History: Werydd lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
