Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ishte fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her green robe. Her hair is short and brown. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Willow was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Barber, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and regain custody of her son

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He tends to his Junk Dealer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with dancing. She constantly tries to fill her life with dancing. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered dancing. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and doesn't want to be a marshal and was forced into it by her family
