Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Medrash will drive conversation. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in the south to a Weaver, Valorean learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Valorean grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Valorean. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Weaver for hire.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
