Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Shane never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His childhood dream was to be a Cartwright, but he was a colossal failure. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is unsatisfied with his job
