His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Knight arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thokk grew up listening to his father's many stories. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his old friends

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
