History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Sweet alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born in the south. Her first spouse was a Roofer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mortician and was forced into it by her family; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
