History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Through the years after Gurdis was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gurdis's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
