History: Valafar was born with his father's beautiful face. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has achieved small success as a Shepherd.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ahlyssa embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to unite with her sister

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She worked as a nervous Animal Trainer and found it very stressful. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult
