Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off her debts

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Varis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Varis decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Three does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is greedy

Personality: Jarana is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern
