Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Being a Bricklayer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Detective. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Trym studied abroad. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Paymon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: Shanairla is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
