History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Mardnab wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gifted student she started as a Bricklayer, but she got bored and became a Locksmith. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. His violet eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Vlorn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
