Description: This late middle aged man wears a green vest and prefers black and red shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down and is in decent physical shape. His long dark red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His red eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. The war was a terrible time for him, and Marbas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: She is in excellent shape and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. She has dyed her greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Elysande was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Elysande's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This malnourished woman wears a white coat over a yellow low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon her head. Her moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Portia's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

Description: She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and she perpetually has her whip ready. Her cinnamon fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her deerstalker brown hat.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Jade was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Jade and her spouse have recently divorced.
