However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: Numba speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Numba is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Numba hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she wants revenge against illithids

He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He worked as a nervous Servant and found it very stressful. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest woman in the west
