Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age his mother died while driving off some giants. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, River grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
