Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Joan hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Aust was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions
