History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Jade liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jade fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and to reunite with his old friends

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Gale was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Scribe. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
