Through the years after Gurdis was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gurdis's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born in the north. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miner for the past few years.
