Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He takes great joy in being the best Cartwright in town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Henry was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he prefers to wear flannel. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Fargas hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Fargas was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to be a shepherd again

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
