History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When Nedda reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Nedda and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Through the years after Therai was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Therai's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
