History: Valafar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Charles speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Charles grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Charles. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Gifted from a young age, Shava studied abroad. At some point she was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against drow.
