History: Barendd hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. After coming to the age of reason, Barendd took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
