History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Description: This man stands a little under 2'11" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a white tunic with green highlights, and long white pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has shaved his head bald. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He carries with him a set of kukris on his belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His ears are large.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a axe on his belt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Dworic was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dworic fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Dagnal lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers.
