He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born to a Barkeep, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and to reunite with her old friends

Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She tends to her Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Mardred's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
