History: Marbas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears tattered old clothes. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult; and to be a unemployed again

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her first spouse was a Assassin, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and regain custody of her son

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy chestnut stubble. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with blue colored cloaks and clothing. He has a hunchback. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. A true patriot, Erky would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Erky was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Erky and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.
