History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: Standing 5'8", this woman wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Her brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her skin is flawless and her hazel eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Gnomish compassion; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: He wears a grey vest and prefers white and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'11" when asserting himself. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Whurbin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Ilanis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Ilanis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
