History: Born in the south to a Guard, River learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Akta and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gifted student he started as a Unemployed, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He has worked as a Merchant like his mother before him.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
