History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
