History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. After coming to the age of reason, Mâku took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He struck the Scribe job and began his own company from there.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and retire the richest woman in the east

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Left-Handed was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to pay off his debts
