Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, grey shirt, and brown tie. Her rusty crest is heavily combed to the right. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.
Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Uadjit was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Banker, and she later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: To end her boredom; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She keeps her brown hair in a pixie cut. Her gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Through the years after Ranala was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ranala's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Being a Sage kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.
History: Wella hails from a village terrorized by drow. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Wella alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it

Description: He wears white trousers with pastel and brown striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shield, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length golden hair. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Takra is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Takra lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
